Rubber chicken cyder, made, in part, from my orchard, has just won best farmhouse dry cider at the Royal bath and West show. Means that I'm drinking proper posh stuff, not rough as a badgers arse stuff, all of a sudden!

Why's it spelt funny?

eta that'll be it then.

My use of the spelling 'cyder' is a result of wanting to distance the kind of wholesome 100% juice drink I make from the large scale commercially made beverage that 'Joe Public' like's to drink with ice in it.

Oh, no. To clarify, I only own some trees. Some bloke asked onnfreecycle for apples, and he's been coming every year of a while, taking apples and turning them into cider. I just get free cider and emails about awards.
