Looks simple, hangs from a hook, needs two wires clipping in.
Let's look at the ceiling.
I know enough to know they don't match up. Putting original fitting right back where it started... |

I am consulting a friend who does this for a living. I know my limits, and electrickery is a hard line (water plumbing I'll have a go at, on the other hand)  |

Good idea if you are unsure.
Plumbing errors can lead to leaks but you seldom drown from them.
Gas errors can be deadly as can electrical errors.
It should be a relatively simple job. How often is that said?
