I have the opportunity to obtain two male peacocks but have no knowledge of keeping them whatsoever. Is it wise? What do they need? Can anybody help?

Cheers

They also fly a fair bit. Will to males not end up fighting if there's no peahens for them?

I think males can be quite aggressive, with their displaying and such like.

You're all saying what I'm thinking so I might just give them a miss. They would be nice to look at though if nothing else.

Arlington Court, which is a NT place near us has (or had the last time I went there) a white (?albino) peacock which was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

He is a beauty isn't he. He gave us a great tail display when we last went there.

We had a solitary peacock at our yard - he was quite happy on his own. Bit of a show off, would give a good display of feathers and did have a thing about the cars (think he liked his reflection or something). Very vocal during the course of the day, especially mornings. I would think two males together would squabble a lot.

Horses didn't always appreciate the feather display when he was practically under them!!
