I'm looking forward to this now.

I went to see the film last night and was a little disappointed, although I think if I hadn't seem the TV adaptation or read the books I may have enjoyed it more.

It just seemed that the ending was a bit too slushy.

My sixteen year old son who has read the first book seemed to really enjoy it though so mabe its just me

The radio series (original ones, before Douglas Adams died) are the best way to get into Hitchikers, I won't be going to see the film I'll wait till it's on the telly cos I'm ure it's going to disappoint.

I went to see this on Thursday and loved it. I laughed from the start. I was pretty sure I would not be dissapointed since Duglas Adams wrote the screen play. What you need to remember is each incarnation of Hitchikers is different from the last so it's no good expecting to see all your favorite jokes or charactors. I thought the film was true to the spirit of The Guide. Go see it, Don't Panic!
