The mint wine I made a few months ago. Perfect!

Interesting. Does it taste very minty?

No, Mistress Rose, there's a very mild hint of mint when you think about it. Nothing like creme de menthe!
You probably wouldn't realise if you didn't know.
Very smooth, and a lovely flavour and colour. Potent too!

Sounds good. I can never get mint to grow, but I have some quince wine on the go at the moment.

That's what I should have done with my quinces. Did you make quince jelly first and then use the pulp or did you make the wine straight off?
I thought the problem with mint was stopping it growing!

I used some for jelly, some for wine, and some for quince brandy. I may use the quinces from the brandy to make some jelly. It should be interesting.

For some reason I don't seem able to grow mint here. I think one or two other people have had the same problem.
