I can't believe it, I've been searching through my photos for a "spring" image and have discovered that some of my files are unrecognised, this is on the HD on my work PC (my offsite backup) and the removable hard drive I use to transfer my data between home and work Any ideas on fixing jpegs?

Any ideas on fixing jpegs?

Unrecognised by what? Will they read into GIMP etc.

Firefox says "the file cannot be displayed because it contains errors" Irfanview says "unrecognised JPEG" Adavnced Batch Convertor says "Divide by zero error"
