Anyone else having trouble getting fencing supplies? All the places in my area can't get hold of fencing rails and other bits and bobs, a real PITA when you need to finish a fence

All down to a booming China and when you do find it, the price has gone up through the roof.

Loads around here, but we still have plenty of independant local suppliers.

4" D rail - 3.66m = £2.75 each

Yeah, I'm afraid we have tons here. Can only suggest you pop to a farm sale. Almost impossible not to find hundreds of them at farms round this way.

We get straight from the lumber yard that cuts the trees so I recon we have at least 30-40 years worth avaliable. More if they keep planting too.

I was tlaking to someone the other day who had been to the sawmill, and placed an order for 1200 fence posts, and been told he would have to wait at least six weeks for them.

Bought a few replacement posts in Aber a couple of weeks ago to fix the front and worked out it would be cheaper to buy the posts and cut them up than the bags of firelogs they were selling
