So you've seen the introduction to our virtual show.

So in this thread please post photos of your most spectacular courgette/marrow

Ideal for all of those forgotten courgettes which over night turn into marrows or for actual marrows

Please show some sort of measure or similar so that we have some reference to length.

Closing date is 8th October.

Not quite the largest but made me laugh.

I popped a spare plant down at the lottie of this round courgette variety - supposed to be picked at golf ball size

Found this one last night lurking under some leaves

I know it wont be the biggest but it's what you do with it that counts (in this case giving it to the girlfriends dad and keeping him sweet)

It's the heat isn't it? How about a fruit and veg competition without any overtones? Nah - you just couldn't do it

Anyway, my courgettes are rampant, almost uncontrollable (note to self, NEVER plant 10 courgettes again, EVER!) so I reckon I can do this one.

I'll take the lot of you on, come on peeps, you won't be able to beat mine.

Well this is the biggest so far - found it lurking under some leaves - I don't know whether you can see the tape measure clearly but its 14 inches long

Just come back from harvesting, 15.5 inches. Not posting a pic cos that's a tiddler compared to a couple we harvested last week.

I'm pleased to report that the largest of these is 16 inches!

Mrs Fiddlesticks didn't look so pleased when faced with a large bag of courgettes though. Anyone want a few?

Can deliver within a few miles of West Oxfordshire or to your desk in the City of London
