In defense of TS; they don't, noone is expected to put anything on the net if they don't want to.

I won't buy with limited contact info but the exception I will make is if I buy from a trader through a third party for whom I have good contact information (e.g. amazon or ebay)

Yes you are, by with holding certain key information, but you don't have to put any of it on in the first place. And as far as business & wierdos (not sure of the plural for wierdo) you might as well have it on, because you could be losing a good proportion of business by withholding information that anyone can get in a few clicks anyway.

Indeed. It took me three clicks to find your full postal address, I'm afraid. And I'm not even a weirdo.

I seriously doubt I'm losing trade because of it. If you're selling meat or suchlike then fair enough but I don't think it applies to people like me. Most of my sales are face to face anyway - can't say I'm really bothered about the website. Gets on my threepennies if I'm honest I know people with the nouse can find me with three clicks - nothing I can do about that. There's also the issue of not being allowed to use my home to trade from. Likely to get kicked out if they find out.

Tell you what - I'll bet my sales don't change from adding my home address - wanna play?

Isn't there some kind of TS regulation about misguiding labelling?

1. How much are we betting?

2. How much are your cheaper items?

3. How much do they need to change before I win?

Well I started this thread originally because I was looking at traders websites & though I may not need their products right now, I won't bookmark the ones that don't have an address & I will chose an alternative that does if I need their products, it's not just you, there are plenty of others. If I was that worried about my personal security I wouldn't have a website at all.

Frankly I don't care about wether anyone displays their full information or not, I just won't patronise them, and seemingly neither will 75% of voters in this pole.

Well Rob 75% of the poll equates to 15 people 15 people who know who I am and still rarely buy anything from me. I don't think I'll be losing sleep over it.
