I'm trying to get hold of a list of plants that are unsafe for goats to eat. Thank you in advance

Books on goat-keeping will have comprehensive lists, or try Googling for information (although on Google, it may be American sites, so the names of plants may be different); how about trying DEFRA?

Don't give prunings off plum trees as browse is one thing I remember---long time since I looked after a goat.

There are quite a lot out there to be aware of. Most goat books give a comprehensive list. You have to be extremely careful if you have inherited you garden from a gardener type gardener. Yew Box Rhododendron Some list Privet Ragwort A few from memory

Tensing I have taken this infomation from a old book I have. Exhibition and Practical goat keeping by Joan Shields. Yew Ragwort Rhododendron Laburnum Spindle Dog's mercury White Bryony Rhubarb Water dropwort Privit Laural Hemlock and Water hemlock Hope this helps, Pea

Found my old book---you can feed stone fruit branches but only very fresh or very dry---but never wilted, or they can cause cyanide poisoning----I must just have avoided them altogether as a precaution.
