I heard stamps now had a use by date on them to prevent this, am I wrong?

Either way, standard post is an ABSOLUTE bargain.

Amazingly enough, I think you are . At least as far as the old-fashioned kind bought over the counter goes. I think that if you buy online and print yourself there may be a use-by date, but I'm not sure. Might depend on the service you are buying.

I'm not aware of any increases to standard postage since last April myself .

There is a use by date on the ones that you can print off from Smart Stamp on-line - usually only a few days away from the date you printed the stamp.

Not aware of the same being so for the traditional stamps.
