25th December, silly!

Not for Alison it isn't - it's all over by then.

You mean I can't kill mine on the morning and shove them straight in the oven

You cook them?

OK - At the moment I think it's looking more like a pub meet than hiring somewhere from numbers. I'll wait till the end of the week. Chez and Arvo are off line, and there's a few others about. It would be nice to have enough to do something like the Earwig Convention last year.

Well it looks like the end of Nov, and I was thinking of booking Taddiport village hall for a an afternoon session with a meal.

Is Taddiport doable on the train? I want to get some use out of my various railcards

Good heavens - it means Toad Gate and it used to be a leper colony. Do I really want to eat my lunch there?

The nearest station to us is Barnstaple. You could get a bus from there or one of us could come and pick you up.

We will be going there from Exeter, and could take three there and back.

we'd like to come, if life's running smoothly again by then - except, just to be sure what I'm signing up for - what exactly was the Earwig Convention?

We have to drive right past Exeter St. David's on our way up to North Devon, so that would be no problem at all.

No thread on it yet. Why not start one?
