I need to start using Skype at work, I'm guessing I just need a USB handset and a skype account, is there more to it?

A simple mic will do it, I use a webcam instead of handset. Handset would be better though.

And a dressing gown if you are going to be using it with a camera.

That would lend a new sense of terror to being phoned by tahir.

I use it with a cheap Aldi webcam and it works perfectly. Sometimes it's kinder not to have the video option running though!

skype is brilliant, until your connection speed drops- which is whenever it rains here?!!?
We find a normal computer mic and headphones to be the best connection.
Good luck!
