I had catfish for dinner last night, this was a first for me. We cooked it in a curry, and it was really really nice. Has anyone else eaten catfish, and how did you cook it?

Yum! Have it quite regularly, I would use it in any recipes that require a meaty type fish

I love it, better and cheeper than Monkfish Don't ever tell white Americians that you eat it though, My boss did once, but thats a different story

Wait. I'm a white American. I don't get it. I love catfish! What do you all think white Americans think about catfish?

I love catfish (Anarhichas lupus). I always prepare it the same way:

Melt butter in a pan.

Put in the pieces of fish, add salt, pepper, garlic and some lemon juice.

Simmer under lid on low temperature for ca 20 minutes.

Serve with boiled potatoes and nice veggies.

According to Judge Priest, black folks fish it with a bit of raw beef liver.
