Thought I'd move this discussion here instead

Happytechie and I are going to be en-route to Wells, Somerset, on Saturday 20th March, but don't really need to be there until 5ish.

So, late lunch and an afternoon get-together somewhere pleasant?

Yummersetter has suggested Ham Hill Country Park.

Jeeze. It's practically in London.

What about the Yeovil Country Park? Yeovil is on a mainline rail route.

Don't know owt about it, just found it via google. Looks alright, though - and Yeovil isn't short of pubs and cafes etc.
