I just had an idea!!! It felt a bit like i imagin it would to lay an egg?
Anyway would anyone like to take part in a secret seed swap? The idea is everyone who wants to take part sends me their name or a name they want to use and address, i will then on a given date send you someone else`s details and you will seed them any seeds you wish too. Nothing dodgy!!!! LOL. You could be surprised with something different to grow. If you send home grown seeds please give instrutions as to how to grow.

I'm up for it. We do a seed swap within our local Gardening club but it'd be quite nice to get some as a surprise

They did, didn't they? Mind you, this system sounds more like the pinny swap, where we'll all be sending "one type of seeds" on to "one other person" ... whereas last year it was more of a bundle of spare seeds doing the rounds IIRC.

Does sound like a good idea if it can be organised.

I have them, they were to go to Nick but he said he didn't want them at the time as he didn't have time to use them. Who ever is next can have them and we could just carry on from there. I took them to the devon meet to shift them along to someone but forgot
so where next?
They are all packed and ready to go. I've added my contribution...

I like the idea TINKS. If everyone one else agrees Idon't see why we shouldn't try this idea as the last one didn't work out particularly well. It's a bit disheartening to come up with an idea and have it disregarded.

it's a fabulous idea. I'm left holding a big load of seeds though that I need to pass on.
How about I send them to you and you could distribute surprise seeds to others for the cost of postage?

Nell, can I suggest you start another thread to continue last year's "pass on unwanted seeds" game? That way it won't get confusing in with this one of Tinks's
