My inlaws are looking to move closer to us on the Welsh borders so are currently arranging to have their home valued ready to sell. It is located on the fens in north Lincolnshire, a few miles from Louth and not too far from the sea.
Very well maintained compact semi-detached 2/3 bedroomed period property, converted 18th/19th century coach house, double glazing fitted throughout in 2010 except for bow window. One acre of land attached which includes wildlife areas - woodland, meadow, established fruit trees, soft fruit, cottage garden, herb and vegetable garden, recent log cabin, and varous sheds/garage etc. Solid fuel rayburn for full central heating, hot water as well as cooking. Ideal for someone looking for a smaller affordable smallholding, village edge rural location.

The owner of an additional 3.5acres of adjacent land has indicated that it may be available by seperate negotiation.

If you might be interested let me know and I can let you have contact details or check Rural Scene as full details will be displayed soon.

thanks for the replies, it is a lovely place and they keep it to a very high standard, so it will be a wrench for them to leave, however father in law is 80 this year and maintaining the land is not getting any easier for them as well as being too far away for us to help out, particularly as we are tied to our small farm with keeping livestock. If they could bring the house with them they would!

It's lovely - location fine, right size and combination of land use, unfortunately the OH can't manage stairs, so sorry, no good for us. Good Luck though!

thank you for the good wishes with the sale and move.

Thats a shame Mary, although I think a stairlift would be feasible in the house, but not as easy as having everything on the same floor. Goodluck if you are currently searching.

I have now updated with asking price following valuations and will add a link to the agents as soon as the property is listed.

There may also be the possiblility of additional adjoining land by seperate negotiation.

a link to details...at last! https://www.ruralscene.co.uk/details/4120_KP555F.pdf

Please see original post regarding the possiblity of adjoining land - as rural scene appear to have omitted this important information!

Offers will be considered as looking for a quick sale, no onward chain.
