It will. However you'll soon find you have so many ducks you need something the size of Lake Vyrnwy to accomodate them all. Mind tou you could stock it and use it for fishing practise.

They're addictive.

some ducks of our acquaintance have one of those plastic kids sandpits as a pond, they were cheap in Tescos recently and seem to do the trick well as a starting puddle

Yes they are really good as they are light enough to tip out all that slop which was only water 5 minutes ago

Look: all I did was to remind her that she'd always wanted ducks now. There was no arm-twisting involved.
