Last week we moved the pullets that we have bred this summer to a new field. This meant us moving a couple of poultry sheds and then setting up the electric poultry netting. They seem to be pretty pleased with their new surroundings.

I've got another eight younger Welsummer pullets that are yet to go out . I always think that they always look better out on fresh grass.

Oh and some gratuitous pictures of the ducks.

This years look better than ever but I put that down to the new blood that I've introduced from Chicken Feeds mum and dads birds. Now to see just how well they perform. There isn't any show blood in my birds, so I'm not too worried. I bought in some exhibition birds a couple of years back but thought better of it and got rid of them and everything that they produced ASAP

Out of the two dozen there were five that had broken airsacs, despite your very impressive packaging. They hadn't started to develop at all. All of the others, fertile and looking good!

I might very well have to. I kept two cocks back from your mums birds. Absolutely fantastic birds but when I put the birds away just half an hour ago, there was one of the ungrateful bastards stone dead in the field A real mystery, no marks on him and no previous sign of any illness. Infact, he's the fittest dead bird that i've ever seen.
