I know it's ridiculous, but I had a wwoofer ask me the other day what the average rainfall for this area is and I had to admit that I didn't know
So I just did a quick google and came up with the University's facts and figures but it wasn't much use, probably because I didn't find the right page. Anyway, I thought I'd pop an ask here as there's bound to be someone clever who can point me in the right direction. Also, while we're on the subject of random info, does anybody know where/ how I can get a contour map of the farm? I looked on the OS website but it confused me, doesn't take much. I've no idea how high we are above sea level and am mildly curious but would also like to know what degree of slope there is from the top of the hill to the bottom.

To find the degree of slope take two willing adults, a stick some string,a pencil and a whsmith protractor.
Tie the string half way down your stick. Tie the pencil to the end of the string.
The first person aims the stick like a gun at something on the top of the hill about the same height as they are.
The second person measures the angle betwwen the string and the stick on the downhill side. Use the pencil on the end of the string to write it down. you've got the angle of slope.
