i have a 6 spare german issued/used (grade 1 used for the technical ) camping mats

they are the origami style ,ie they fold to a slab about 280x380x35 mm and weigh about 360 gm.this is much more convenient than the roll up type (i often carry 2 ,one for daytime rapid seating on the outside of a pack and one inside to extra pad the bergan and as a dogbed or one under and one in the bivvy bag for ground sleeping)

the dog bed leads onto the mat having a rip resistant finish that makes them far more resilient than soft closed cell mats

available £10 each+p n p

Kieran used one of these for DofE, and said it was quite good (and very light to carry).

Hiya.

I'd be VERY interested in one of these seeing as I'll be needing one during the summer.
