... at last!
And it was worth the wait

It's probably one of my favourite architectural plants.
Took a few pics - handheld so the close up isn't as sharp as I'd like.

Does anyone know why it is also called Lampwick Plant (Natasha?).

It's not uncommon but not one you see in bog-standard garden centres as far as I know.

I think we probably bought it at Crug Farm's Annual Plant fair where lots of truly plantsy people come to sell their treasures

Thanks for that - might give it a go as it would look nice with a couple of companions

I prefer things that self-seed ..... anyone want several dozen hellebore babies?

Lampwick plant is a new name to me. I wonder why?

Mine is about 3' tall, spread of 2'.
I think I read it grows to a metre high.

It really is a striking plant. I think there are lots of varieties including dwarf ones

Lovely!

I like that they dry well for flower arrangements too.
