Just another bit of info that won`t go down well here i presume,

With Drax getting in the region of 1 Billion grant to go the Biomass route, shipping their woodchips from the Southern States of the US,

They are apparently going to build another Coal Burning facility.

According to local news it will involve carbon capture and storage under the seabed.

I don't have enough info to comment. My own view is pretty much that mankind is fecked.

whilst doing a bit of searching for some facts etc I came across this blog which I found interesting

https://jackcollier7.com/tag/chris-huhne/

As above I can't comment much but there are some interesting points for discussion particularly the fact that

Chris Huhne, the ex boss of the U.K.s Department of for Energy & Climate Change, has recently landed a £100,000 a year job with U.S. company Zilkha Biomass.

Me neither, but I will anyway...

The bottom of the North Sea does sound like a better place than a regular top dressing on North Yorkshire, at least.

Green is what you usually get when you mix blue and yellow... and people often turn green when they're sick...
I think it is a not an unfair description.

Notice the Government are providing funding up to 2 billion for this carbon capture,

Yet refused a lot less funding for a similar plant at Hatfield Colliery, year before last? when Budge and the Russian company were running the business, and planned on carbon capture to the same system being banded by Drax, alongside the Colliery.

Most people I suspect don't really give a shit for the planet and would rather leave their feckless children a really crap planet to try to live on because they'd rather have cheaper power bills and perhaps spare money to buy the latest shiny iNeedOneNow doodad.
And we get exactly the venal self serving politicians we deserve.
