Well, the time came, and we sent 6 of our geese off for prep and dressing. Just left to range and eat as normal, so not fed up or restricted in any way.

5 ganders and 1 goose, and weights were
3.5kg for 3
3.2kg for 1
2.5kg for 2

Quite pleased with how they have come out, and one has a freezer home already for Easter... alongside the one we will be eating. Will report back on how it goes as a meal.

In the end we chickened- harhar- out, and had them done elsewhere.

While picking them up there was the most massive turkey I have ever seen. Chap weighed it for me, 15kg the same weight as alll 6 of my birds!

Well done with the geese. I'm hoping Spike does his job next year with the girls so we can also eat goose at Christmas!
