I'd like to have a go at growing tigernuts.

Does anyone know of a supplier?

I have fancied this for a while and so will watch responses with interest. The only supplier I can find is https://www.sandmountainherbs.com/chufa.html
US based but they say they ship all over the world

I grew them few years and then I got vine weevils into planters....YES they do love tiger nuts.
They are lovely things to eat..like chewing coconut flesh, but lot of effort goes cleaning them...and if your crop is success, you get millions of them
In the end I decided they were too much work..

Oh, that's a shame.

Do you think they'd grow in a large tub, like potatoes do?

Yes, they are good tub plants. I started mine in small pots and planted them on once they were few inches tall.

Brilliant, I shall buy some.

I had a response to my question on Of Plums and Pignuts and ARC have some. (I did look there - can't think how I missed them first time round). But they are £8! I think I'll take a punt on ebay first and resort to ARC if I have to
