Thanks, the drop from the deck in picture is about 8ft to what was an accessible bit of the garden. Vague plans for that mid is now a Tiger pit for unruly grandchildren, though be need to acquire some grandchildren for that to work.

And a tiger, presumably?

Tiger? Sharpened Stakes? ball pit and a rope ladder? Plenty of possibilities. Guess it would depend on the grandkids....

Finally moving again. Never seen quite so many bits and nuts and bolts.

the base and metal look pretty good, many bits is often a matter of being organized to make them easy to pick up in order once you start assembling

that is not what i noticed though, the crack in that block wall looks like it has broken its back, why?

heave on minimal footings or has one half dropped a bit ?

ps if it is heave there is little to be done, a few bits of helibar set into it across the crack will stabilize enough to avoid a falling sidewayssplit

if it is landslip the terracing should retard it but helibar is still a good idea to prevent the two bits going sideways

easy done cut some strait slots into the faces, add helibar, glue in with good mortar work

The wall has been like that for at least 6 years. I have seen it as almost a point of reference to further landslip. It seems perfectly stable but does add to the point about the stability decreasing in that direction.
No pic yet, but we have a complete roof and a decreasing pile of bits. The base rectangle is underway. I doubt we will complete today as the number of screws left is still lots and lots and lots.

Lots still to do, but undeniably a shed.

Two ex sheds so I can shift the greenhouse and start demolishing decking to build a retaining raised bed that can be fill with earth from the terracing. The log jam has cleared!

Always well to clear log jams. Somehow one job always leads to another and something else needs to be done before.

So the area with the two pylons is that the land that was flooded previously ?

All of the marsh floods, including around the pylons. I confess though we have always just enjoyed it and not gone looking for exactly how far it gets in that direction.

Greenhouse moved one more time, so on to deck demolition and figuring out where the raised beds go and where the greenhouse will come to rest.

if you put the greenhouse in a sunny spot it works when it is not very sunny

and you can give it a parasol of some sort if it gets too toasty on hot days.
