Cards, leaflets, banners

Is there a printer in the house? I need business cards, leaflets and a banner.

It depends on the look and feel you want for your cards and things. You can get something more crafty looking from old fashioned letterpress printers. There still a few about - I think if you are not going for high volume print run then although it might be more expensive, a classic, craft style image through your cards etc might be worthwhile. (look at letterpress business cards on google images).

Also it might be useful to think for an alternative - one of the best business cards I have received recently (and kept) was from a drum maker. Hand written on a piece of dried vellum with a small wax seal. Home made but so effective.

I'd second vistaprint...for banners anyway. I'm really pleased with mine. It came with no means of hanging it up...but apparently the widgets they sell are crap anyway and i've mounted mine on some fabric, which goes with the 'look' anyway.

Downsizer doesn't like my picture files because they are too big, but you can look at it here facebook linky on it's first outing, and because I ordered some business cards, more rack cards for the B&B and a couple of other things, it was actually free.
