feeding advice for goat please

We rehomed this little lady last night

She is around 8 years old and was previously in a small (less than 1/4 acre) grass paddock and was given no supplementary feed. We have put her in a 1.5 acre field and are giving her hay ad lib. Her spine is very prominent when you feel her back and I was wondering what quantity of the goat pencils you would recommend giving her.
chicken feed

hi
my parents heve breed and shown goats for over 30 years as she looks like she has dried up i would feed her a light course goat mix but take it easy a goat her age will not need too much dried food a mineral lick may be of help to her cider vinegar in her water and plenty of tlc

just change her diet slowly you dont want her scouring if she is not used to too much of the good life.

have you checked her feet she may well need them triming if shes not been best kept. a milker / ex milker will show some hip bones as dairy cattle do so dont worry on that score
good luck you will soon get her looking her best

Might be wise to worm her as well.
If she's been on the same ground for a long time she could be carrying a large worm burden.
If she is dry a few handfuls of oats as well as ad lib hay & not to much pasture to start with IMO.

I thought I'd leave her a day or so before worming so she at least settles in. Same with her feet which do need a trim.

She isn't a milker. I think it is a long time since she was last milked (years rather than months).

I have some cidar vinegar I use for the horses so I'll pop that in her water like you suggest chicken feed.

When she arrived she had a fairly dirty rear end. I have given her a probiotic sachets with a small handful of goat pencils. Is there anything else I can do for her?

She looks ok condition wise. Dont want her to fat.
