Foraging for dye plantsThe weld (reseda luteola) is nigh on perfect in most places now, its still useable for ages yet, but anyone planning on picking it for dye whilst its at its best, anytime in the next few weeks would be good 
Its a great beginners dye plant, easy to recognise, easy to use and good strong light and wash fast clear yellows that also make good green shades with overdying or cunning mordanting.
