Freegle ChicPlease forgive another post of a Freegle related topic - but I am trying to write an article with the title "Freegle Chic"
What I really want are example of people who have obtained clothing or furniture or household items for Freegle or Freecycle or charity shop etc and given them a new lease of life.
I'm specially keen on stories where something has been done up or altered in some way to make it more fashiable or fit it in with your own design or taste. It's be great if there were photos.
I'd be very happy to edit a version suitable for a downsizer article too if required
So come on what of you done? - personally I've done nice stuff with metal garden furniture, reglazed a smashed up greenhouse, refurbished a gas barbecue , and repaired and givcen tents new life
- but I'd love to see some mor fashionable things done with clothing and furniture.

Yes, please !
Although I buy most of my clothes from charity shops, I don't alter them.

Don't worry about too many posts, that's what we're here for.
An article would be great and it would be good to give Freegle some more publicity.

We've revamped a greenhouse. I'm in the process of revamping two sofas and some floor cushions. I can do you 'before' pictures, but not 'afters' for the foreseeable future

I've stripped old furniture, and put new covers on old chairs.
I also buy clothes from the charity shops, but not to alter but to get a look of quirkyness(is that a word lol), as i want to have my own fashion, and hopefully a one of look
I've repainted kitchen cabinets and sadly painted my kitchen floor tiles
I've also used old wallpaper books and sticky back plastic to make tile transfers, and used card to make stencils for tranfers on a ceiling
