How to make Rhubarb juice- cordial?HI,
Does anyone out there have a recipe for making Rhubarb juice-cordial? we have loads of the stuff.... Ive frozen it, made jam, crumble........ but wondered if it could be made into a tasty juice!? any ideas!!!! thanks.

How about something along the lines of:
Stew rhubarb with a little water. Strain off the resulting juice and boil up with sugar until you get a syrup. Add citric acid and bottle?

Do you have a masticating or geared juicer?
If so then warm the rubarb (stand it in the sun for a bit ) and put it through. Warming makes a difference to the amount of juice. You can put the pulp through a second time if you want to, but you'll only get a little more out the second time.
Then proceed with the boil up juice to a syrup etc as suggested by the lovely Mochyn
(you can compost the pulp, or cook it in a little water with apples and its yummy)
