ISO used Ashford Traveller spinning wheelHi there,
I'm looking for a second hand Ashford Traveller (preferably scotch tension) and wondered if anyone had one they wanted to sell.
I'm in Somerset and can collect by car on a Saturday/Sunday.

Will keep my ear to the ground for you  I very nearly advertised mine when I bought my new (secondhand) Timbertops wheel, but the traveller is excellent for taking to Guild workshops etc, so I'm hanging on to it

I have a Leicester which I love, she is so beautiful and I'm very lucky. What Timbertops do you have?
The Traveller is going to be for Guild and taking places as I have a good friend who likes to "represent" at every available oportunity - pub, park, local events. I go with her for moral support and take spindles and fluff, it's fun and we always get lots of interest. I'm looking forward to the weather warming up though.......spindling outside in minus 12c was a bit much even for me! bbrrrr:-)

Lordy - minus 12c sounds a bit drastic  . Lovely idea to do the "representing". The Timbertops is a 24" Thurmaston (double band). Took me ages to grasp the adjustment for tension with the double band - but finally sussed it  I love it.
