John Purcell Paper order

I'm going to bite the bullet and place a printmaking paper order with JPP.

I thought I'd pop up their price list in case it's of any interest.
Some glorious papers Smile

If anyone has need for a reasonable quantity of paper (there's a minumum 25 sheet order), maybe there'd be an opportunity to share P&P or stretch to sharing a millpack (125 sheets) and making quite a good saving on the price per sheet.

Link to their website: http://www.johnpurcell.net/

If anyone's interested, drop me a pm. I'm happy to do the ordering.

very strong /about30 gm/very flexible /natural colour/a little variation in fibre density might be nice / it needs to take fine detail with hand burnishing

im starting to sound like a paper nerd Laughing

recon if something along those lines sounds good i could justify half a mill pack that would give me enough cut up for proofing the inks and a run of 25 (more than that i would go nuts Laughing

i have been proofing the cutting on black but it is time to flip into the light

Another art danger zone. A proper old-fashioned shop.

I think for the specialist surface you're looking for Sheperds would have something. I've never been into their shop but their website http://www.bookbinding.co.uk/ will give you an idea.

Can't recall. Ages since I was there. Went with a friend. Kids in a sweetshop.

I think it's the sort of shop where they expect their customers to know their materials inside out and if you don't you get short shrift Smile
