Private Peaceful - Michael MorpurgoWent to see this performance last night - part of the Ilkley Literature Festival. It was one of the best performances I've seen. Michael Murpergo is a brilliant story teller and had me and the packed audience gripped from the start.There's just him on stage and three male singers. Its a sad story but very moving - if you get the chance go and see it. |

Sounds rather good. Several of his books kept the kids (and the adults) occupied on long car journeys.
