Starling flock study - data soughtThere is a new study on starling flocks
If you follow the links from the BBC News article you go to the Uni website and then onto survey monkey.
They are looking for information on starling murmurations - not just acrobatics but whenever you see a large flock of starlings. They are trying to work out what triggers them.
The survey is looking for
date and time you saw the flock (approx is OK within a few minutes)
how long they took to fly over you/past you
how many (estimate)
They are ideally after repeat sightings at the same location.
