The boletes are out!Fantastic haul of bay boletes this morning! Also found a few ceps and some red cracked boletes. The bay boletes were huge (some more than 6 inches in diameter) and surprisingly free of maggots.
Have fried some in butter for dinner and the rest is now sliced and drying nicely in the dehydrator.
