Ok, mum loves her pigs, but she needs them gone. What is the quickest way to get rid of pigs? did try John Douglas but he doesnt put down pigs. rather not get the vet in as then we need to dispose of them. At the moment ask a local pig breeder.

I'd rather not going into this more (at the moment), both my parents are unwell, to the extent they are getting rid of pigs and no longer want to look after my little one, two things that they love.

Need them gone ASAP. Thank you for any help.

If its any help we've got a 3 year old boar (that does not work) and a 2 and half year old Gilt (bred by Shan). They are chubby kune kunes.

would have to hire transport for them, really need someone to collect. There is a market first friday of the month about 40miles away, but by the sound of the phone call this morning she wants them gone now/asap.
(I think mainly because the longer they are there she will begin to get more upset about the idea)

Hmm i'm not too sure about a local hunt, maybe cathryn or ty gwyn would know that answer.

Deadstock will cost you money, if you offer them for free to someone who can take them to market it will be worth their while & save you money. If I was closer that is what I would do.

did you already try preloved or something like that? We have just taken on a sow and gilt, so cannot help sadly. Will ask around neighbours and see if anything comes up.

Just called mum to check what's happening. She has found someone to take them off her hands (along with the two bags of pig food) hopefully on wedneday if not then friday.
In the meantime I will be feeding them morning and evening, so dad has less to do... it got to the point where last night he had a painful chest pain, he blamed it on a banana but since my mum has suffered with several of these she knows the signs.

Thank you for your help, if they havent gone by friday, i'll be bumping up the thread.

if all else falls through maybe look for a rarebreed farm to take them in for you?

Get an ambulance!

I am fed up of hearing from the Health Board about how stoical the people in this area are. Please get him to hospital Pel. What are you delaying for, they would be very happy to tell you it's nothing.

He is off to doctors tomorrow morning, as he had another pain this evening. I think he has phoned them in advance. I told him if he gets any more ring an ambulance... well what i actually said is that he should have rung one earlier.
