Are these the same thing as the trailer tent?

Oooh, can of worms time. There's some discussion as to the distinctions between them. Several pages of it here.

My understanding is that a trailer tent has only sleeping space inside and your kitchen unit is lashed on to the back. You take it off when you get there and shove it in the awning.

This a folding *caravan* because the kitchen unit is inside, as is the dining table.

I am just about to try to load some photos up on to facebook.

I was merely curious, I hadn't been party to the development of the TT nor the birth of the Folding Caravan I was merely ignorant to the subtle differences.. Now I know better
