Tonight, 10.45pm on Film4. From their website:

"England during the English Civil War. A small group of deserters flee from a raging battle through an overgrown field. They are captured by two men: O'Neil and Cutler. O'Neil (Michael Smiley), an alchemist, forces the group to aid him in his search to find a hidden treasure that he believes is buried in the field. Crossing a vast mushroom circle, which provides their first meal, the group quickly descend into a chaos of arguments, fighting and paranoia, and, as it becomes clear that the treasure might be something other than gold, they slowly become victim to the terrifying energies trapped inside the field. A Field In England is a psychedelic trip into magic and madness from Ben Wheatley - award-winning director of Down Terrace, Kill List and Sightseers."

I'm Quite Excited about this

I saw the trailer and wasn't exactly gripped by "mustn't miss that" fervour. The simultaneous release idea is mildly interesting though.

Looking forward to it it too, not least because I kinda (through a friend) know the director.
The multi platform release is becoming more common amongst indie film makers, as well as self distribution, anything to get our films seen by as many as poss.

Shame, it was the most bonkers film I've seen in years (in a good way).

Why no flash? Are you on an iPad? If so, have a hunt for Skyfire.

Yep, iPlayer should have read iPad :dizzy:

Not heard of Skyfire - I shall look it up, thanks.

I've read the reviews and it does sound bonkers, arty, and creepy. I think I'd really like it
