can't I open a pdf file that's been emailed to me? I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling an adobe reader but seem to be stuck in a continuous loop which prevents it being downloaded. Help please.

'Save as' directly from the email then open in adobe. Perhaps.

Thank you, just tried that but it's opening it in a notepad and it's unreadable.

Are you double clicking to open? Can you right click and "Open with" and specify adobe?

I agree with Behemoth. My payslips etc. are sent by email, I first have to click on save in adobe, before I can open in adobe. Last edited by Spider on Fri Nov 29, 13 9:16 pm; edited 1 time in total

It's because I cannot download adobe reader. I end up here https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/otherversions/ but the button's not working.

What button?.....when I clicked on the link, it looked straightforward to download..choose what version eg Windows 7 and then the language etc

Thank you Andrew but it's all our documents. Jack received an email from the Welsh Assembly and when he tried to open the attachment it said that an update was needed. He clicked on it but it still doesn't work. He thinks it installed.
