We have been back in the UK for several months due to family illness (and now bereavement). We bought a lovely static caravan on a large plot on a great, quiet site just by the M6 on Lancashire/Cumbria border. Now we will be looking to go home to Bulgaria after the New Year.

We will be looking to sell our static caravan in January. It is 18 years old but was very high spec when new so is still in very good condition and has hardly been used. It is 2 bedroom, with the main bedroom having a small en-suite toilet.

There is a decent sized kitchen with cooker, hob and fridge etc. A dining corner, loads of storage and a good sized lounge.

The static sits on a large plot (it used to be 2 plots). There is a terraced area with a table and bench outside the static, this then goes down a couple of steps to a flagged fenced-in area where there is a shed. There is then a large parking area and a vegetable garden/sitting area to the rear. There is an area behind the shed that could be used for something as well and you could clear some of the wooded area to make a large garden (with agreement from site owner but others have done similar).

The site is close to the M6 so great access, has a fishing lake and a large secure dog walking park. There is no children's play area so its very quiet. It is a short walk into the town of Carnforth, Lancashire and just 10 minutes drive into Cumbria and the South Lakes.

We have used it as a base for a year while visiting family.

There is no age limit for statics on the site and it is very relaxed. It is open all year (although meant to leave for two weeks in February).

Looking for offers of around £15,000 to include the sited static, all furniture, bedding, kitchen items etc, the site fees for 2015 (around £2400 including rates and water), insurance to May and transfer fees.

Well now been informed by site owner that despite being told exact opposite a few months ago be can now only sell off-site. So for sale for offers around £6000 off-site.
