Having just about cured my athletes foot (brought about by leaky wellies) with dilute cider vinegar, I wonder if anyone has treated coughs with thyme, honey and lemon.
My poor hubby is a bit reluctant but HE is the one with the cough!

I would often make honey and lemon, but more likely to add whisky than thyme.

He may prefer whisky! But I did read that thyme was a good addition.

Well they are both antiseptics. Go with the one the man likes (or do belt and braces and use both)

You don't have to put it in the tea/drink. Just make sure you eat some.

Incidentally, thyme, licorice and innula syrup is fab for a cough.

Funny enough he does eat garlic - raw cloves - uurgh!
