Does anyone use a tablet?

I am thinking of getting a linx 10 and I wondered if anyone had one, and if you have any comments about that. Otherwise if you have a really good one, in the cheaper end of the range.

Thanks.

The Hudl 2 is a most excellent little workhorse, Christian got the kids one each for Christmas and whilst it's from the Evil Empire Tesco I can't fault it for functionality at that price range

BTW, android is Linux.

Surface Pro 3. It's a tablet and a PC. I use mine as my home computer and it's faster and more powerful than my work's desktop. Best piece of IT equipment I've ever bought.

Is there a particular reason you want Windows? In that I mean there is a specific program you want for it or is it just personal preference?

personal preference. I have spent too much time learning how something works, when I just want to get on with the job in hand.

I don't need to know how the washing machine works to get the clothes clean!

Have you seen these https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/custom-tablets/2-in-1-tablets/

Built to your spec from £200 up...
Not seen this model but have had good experiences with them for normal laptops.
This is more tablet than laptop compared to the Surface Pro 3
