Battering seems appropriate.

Unfortunately my hummous is off the menu as I had forgotten I had taken my Kenwood musher to Spain and I don't think the potato masher will cope in its place.

I noticed that there was another offer of garlic hummous so we shall not starve for want of hummous. We will still bring the chacuterie and tabouleah though.

Well it will involve me bringing soaked chickpeas down with me..... Rather like coals to Newcastle I suspect and it may bring on screaming fits from the ladies with delicate constitutions after last year...........

If there are enough calls for them I am happy to bring them.

Well. I have quite a lot of chickpeas and I could bring them and soak them overnight. If there was call for it, like .

I think we have changed horses mid-stream and the F&C plan is now at the front for Friday. I just wish someone had mentioned it on page one - it sort of organised itself, it was amazing to watch
