Thanks for the heads up, he can get a bit staged and preachy, but HFW is pretty good value for money>

I don't rate his cookery/recipes that highly. Some of his writing about food is really good though I think he could do with a more ruthless editor.

We are looking forward to it - makes non-challenging viewing on the whole - we wouldn't have done half the things that we have done without his inspiration at the beginning and his and compassion for world farmings work to get free range chicken talked about is and was v good

We'll be watching. It's getting a bit samey now but his enthusiasm is infectious and he's an agreeable enough cove. It is mostly a lifestyle show but you do get some good tips here and there.

I think we like it because it's the type of lifestyle we'd like to have and also like you say BB, his enthusiasm is infectious.

He's using up air time that would otherwise be Big Brother, or Hollyoaks, or a documentary about a girl with two bottoms, or something. For that, and many other reasons, he's hard to disagree with.

The first bit was filmed in our local butchers shop(where we joint up our pigs).BTL was filmed eating the liver, but they cut him out.
His career in tv is doomed from the start!

Ah. Managed comprehensively to miss that programme. But, from previous experience of HFW's diminishing returns, I'll guess that it was probably a bit like a cheap Chinese takeaway; an hour later, apart from a slightly odd taste in the mouth, you wondered what it was all about.

It was alright. Can't say much else without sounding smug though, so I won't
