I'm not sure. The vaseline - or anything like that that you smear on, suffocates the mites. Active ingredients help a bit I think, but I do think, from observation, that they sting the bird, because t ... |

Vaseline all over the legs from toe to feathers once a week for three or four weeks.
You can dip the leg in surgical spirit as well, but I think it stings. The vaseline works just as well. |
