Do they need extra feed at this time of year?
I only feed the ewes 6 weeks before and 4 weeks after lambing until the grass is growing. |

Different ones treat for different age fluke not all treat all ages so you need to speak to the vet or research which you need. Some are better at different times of year.

If you've got the equipment I think I'd try to put the queen in a brood box with frames of foundation/ comb put the queen excluder on then a super with the natural comb in.
Hopefully they'd draw out ... |

Either leave it in the super and the bees will go up to look after the brood or if there's room in the shallow 1/2 brood box swap it into there but make sure it's next to the other frames with brood n ... |
