More fun with soil blocking - this time the piddly cm cubes:

potting on 160 lettuce seedlings

sowing 320 carrots and 160 parsnips enough to allow for failed germination I hope

If it's a maincrop, its blight resistance is a bit iffy compared to other modern varieties.

Buckwheat pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, and a little Manchego grated on top.

May do a bacon and cheese-less one ( ) and put a dollop of ice cream on it for afters.

It would appear that vegans are quite happy for the rare breeds that people have worked hard to rescue and mainta ...
