it dosen't really keep so I think your advice to keep it in the ground untill you need it is spot on.

The plan was to just use the stuff as needed when fresh but does anyone know if the root freeze ...

Does it have to be a particular type of bread? Ciabatta?

I just use whatever bread I have at hand (crusty breads nice) then drizzle the outside of the sandwich with olive oil before slapping it in ...

The trend has been largely away from eating leaf litter mushrooms, they're meant to more prone to absorbing pollutants and suchlike.

That would rule out Wood Blewits too I suppose...
