Traditionally a wild boar would have more muscle and less fat and I find that a very lean pig is much harder to get right on a spit roast.

I'm sure that a pure wild boar would be fine if it was bas ...

Has anyone had success using pig manure as an alternative to horse manure?

I have lots of the stuff which is mixed with straw that is currently just dumped in a corner of a field.

I would like to make a traditional cake this year, but it is too late to start it now? I'm sure traditionalists would say it needs to be started months before Christmas but is this really neccesary?

Each year I plan to grow all my veg, fruit and flowers from seed but invariably I don't and end up paying a fortune for plugs and small plants.

My question is, How soon can I start planting seeds ...
